Following the mandating of civil eLodgment for the law profession on 1 March 2018, the District Court will hold an information seminar, chaired by Principal Registrar Melville, on Wednesday 27 February 2019.
This information session will enable participants to discuss any persistent issues they experience when lodging documents via the Electronic Document System (EDS) and for the Court to provide feedback regarding observations of the use of the EDS by law firms.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss and suggest possible improvements to the system.
The session will be conducted from 4.30pm – 5.30pm in a Courtroom in the District Court Building, and via video-link to Albany Courthouse, Bunbury Courthouse and Geraldton Courthouse for practitioners that wish to join in at these locations.
Given the content of the seminar, Professional Development (CDP) points will be allocated to those who attend.
Attendees must R.S.V.P. and advise which location they will be attending, either the District Court Building in Perth, Albany Courthouse, Bunbury Courthouse or Geraldton Courthouse, on or before 14 February 2019 by email to jim.petrovski@justice.wa.gov.au.
