The District Court is seeking expressions of interest from those looking for full time work as an Usher or Associate to a District Court Judge. The court is especially interested to hear from candidates who are available to commence over the 2026 calendar year, or who can commence in January 2027.

In the event there are no advertised vacancies below, we welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced applicants.

If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, please follow the steps below to register your interest:

Email the District Court at districtcourt@justice.wa.gov.au, and include the following details:

• Subject: Expression of Interest: Usher or Associate to a District Court Judge
• Attach: - A copy of your most up to date CV.
               - A cover letter outlining: when you can commence, why you would like to work at the District Court, and your interest in either an Usher or Associate position (or both).

Applications are invited for the position of Usher to His Honour Judge Renton SC. This is a full-time position, and appointment will be by contract of employment for a period of 12 months, with the opportunity to extend. Please see the below "Downloads" section for further details
